From Florence, Italy to the Bronx’s Little Italy. Italian Professional Football Club ACF Fiorentina to be Welcomed on Arthur Avenue With a Celebratory “Pep Rally” Sunday Afternoon, July 21. In Advance of Their Final USA International Champions Cup (ICC) Game, ACF Fiorentina Will Be Greeted By Fans, Local Officials & Business Owners, including Mario’s Restaurant, Which is Celebrating Their 100th Anniversary.

WHO: Rocco Commisso, New Owner of ACF Fiorentina & Chairman and CEO of Mediacom; ACF Fiorentina, Italian Professional Football Club based in Florence, Italy; Peter Madonia, Chairman of Belmont BID & Owner of Madonia Bakery; John Calvelli, Chair, Italian American Forum; David Greco, Owner of Mike’s Deli; Regina Migliucci-Delfino, Owner of Mario’s Restaurant.

WHAT: ACF Fiorentina (ACF) will head to The Belmont Business Improvement District on Arthur Avenue, also known as the “Little Italy in the Bronx,” in advance of their final USA ICC Game at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, NJ on July 24, 2019. The “Pep Rally” will start at the Arthur Avenue Retail Market where the ACF team, along with new owner Rocco Commisso, will receive a warm welcome from the community, fans and a local Italian DJ and say a few words. ACF will present a signed soccer ball to Mario’s current third-generation owner Regina Migliucci-Delfino and her father Joseph Migliucci to celebrate their centennial. The team will also hand out ACF swag for their upcoming game and greet fans.
