Registrations are open for the annual event that celebrates Festa della Repubblica in the heart of New York City. Italy Run by Nutella Café 5M, has come to its 3rd edition and will take place on Sunday, May 31 in Central Park. The announcement of the 5 miles run, part of the New York Road Runners calendar, and a celebration of Festa della Repubblica (the Italian National Day), was made last Monday at an event at the Italian Consul General of Italy Residence in New York.

“It’s a very delicate moment internationally and it’s important to know that we are all friends and that we can count on each other,” said the Consul General Francesco Genuardi, that described the event as a day of friendship between Italy and New York.
