Laura Pausini is all set to enthrall audiences at New York’s Radio City Hall where the Italian star will belt out some of her epic numbers. The performance is scheduled on August 31. Born in 1974, the versatile pop singer, songwriter, record producer and television personality took up music as a kid when she would join her father while he used to perform in local piano bars.
She soon began participating in local singing contests and her first recording contract came soon enough. Pausini shot to fame in 1993, at the 43rd Sanremo Music Festival with "La solitudine" her debut single. The song almost became an Italian anthem. An international hit; it topped the charts in Italy, Holland and Belgium.
