It makes sense that the Yankees would have more Italian Heritage celebrations than any other club in the big leagues considering the amount of Italian immigrants that lived and passed through New York City. They will have not one, but five Italian Heritage games between September 5 and 10.
You can purchase tickets directly through the Yankees and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Italian American Baseball Foundation. Each Special Event Ticket includes a New York Yankees hat with the Italian flag, a regular sized hot dog and your first drink (a 12oz domestic beer for those 21 years of age or older with a valid ID, Pepsi product or Poland Spring bottled water).
