The Thunder obtained Danilo Gallinari from the Clippers in the Paul George trade on Saturday. Gallinari’s future is not certain; it’s always possible he could be packaged in another trade. But in case Gallinari stays with the Thunder, here are 10 things you might not have known or remembered about the 6-foot-10 Italian:
1. Gallinari’s nickname is “Gallo,” which means rooster in Italian. Gallinari signed a shoe contract with Reebok, and Reebok developed a sneaker called “The Rooster.” The Thunder could have two Gallos this season. The Thunder website writer, Nick Gallo, recently has been given the added duties of sideline reporter for Fox Sports Oklahoma’s Thunder broadcasts. Two Gallos is going to be confusing.
