The Name
Armenian by birth and Milanese by adoption, Stefano Serapian discovered his flair for crafting leather goods in the early Twenties. The designer started his adventure when he began using scraps from an artisanal workshop to make his own creations. Their high quality and unique style immediately sparked interest in the city's sophisticated clientele.

Behind every great man stands a great woman, and with Gina Flori's affective and professional companionship, Serapian's prodigious talent and fine workmanship did not go unnoticed.

The Bag
Strictly Made in Italy and with passion, Serapian's bags have remained a favorite among jet setters who since the 1950s have contributed to the creative process in their own way. By anticipating their clients demand for exclusivity, Stefano and Gina created Bespoke, one of the company's distinctive elements. Bespoke is the luxury of being unique, providing the possibility to commission a design with a personal choice in materials, colors and details. Some of Serapian's iconic pieces are in fact a result of tailor made designs, like the Melinè bag, that had been created in the early Sixties for a customer in search for the perfect travel bag.

The Boutique
A new delightful boutique opened on one of Rome's most exclusive streets, Via del Babuino. The two-story structure with ample windows and minimal furnishing is a feast for the eye; an ostentatious backdrop for the luxurious clutches, handbags and travel bags. A space organized with niches and crystal cases leads upstairs where a comfortable set of plush leather couches and a table complete with material swatches invite customers to participate in the creative process of their own Serapian bag.
