Ciao from Rome to all the friends of We the Italians!
On September 22nd I will have the pleasure of making on behalf of We the Italians a little welcoming remarks to the friends of NIABA who gather here in Rome. As you may recall, We the Italians and NIABA have signed a partnership, of which we are very happy. We will also have the opportunity to introduce some selected friends and prestigious Roman lawyers to NIABA President Francis Donnarumma: one of them is a partner and associate in We the Italians, Mr. Nicola Paglietti, a very successful international lawyer and my personal friend.
With this month we reach another nice goal: now 150 authors have written for our magazine. It's an impressive number of friends, institutions, associations and companies that have believed and believe in the wonderful diffusion of our magazine and in the audience of our readers, which increases every month. We are very happy with this milestone, and we are looking forward to reaching 200 authors!
We would also like to update you on Columbus Day on October 12 next in Siena. The change of the Italian government has brought with it some changes that have also affected our event. A couple of things we had planned have been postponed to next year. But the event remains, we will do it, it will be the first Columbus Day in Italy and we will celebrate the Italian American community remembering that even in Italy there are those who defend Columbus, Columbus Day and respect the Italian American community. We the Italians was born also and above all for this reason. In the October issue of the magazine we will be able to document the event, we will bring into our hearts all the Italian Americans and we will thank and represent them on stage in Siena on October 12!
We remind you that you can take advantage of a 5% discount on Italian Citizenship Assistance ‘s services, reserved only for our readers, by writing an email to [email protected] and quoting the code ICAWTI.
Finally, the Italian proverb. This month the letter is “I” and the proverb of the month of September 2019 is: Il frutto cade non lontano dall'albero ("The apple does not fall far from the tree"). It means that children observe daily and — in their behaviour — often follow the example of their parents.
That’s all for now. So stay tuned, fasten your seat belt and enjoy the ride. The future’s so bright, we gotta wear shades!
