Carnevale Fantastico, an Italian Renaissance and Cultural Festival, returns for a second year May 14-15 to Blue Rock Springs Park.

The event puts an emphasis on the artistry, culture and theme of Italian arts and artisans from the late 1500s. Commedia D'ell Arte, lace making, sword fighting, games, historical re-enactments and costuming, historical figures such as Michelangelo, Galileo Galilei and Leonardo da Vinci are some of the highlights.

Carnevale Fantastico saw 3,500 attendees in 2015. The event is hosted by Avalon Themed Events.
