Cari compaesani di Sabato Rodia: I would like us all to bear in mind just how long we have been working toward international recognition for the Watts Towers.* The Italian contribution to this effort has been particularly strong for over a decade. Please let it continue to be so. We must NOT drop the ball now that a UNESCO World Heritage Site candidacy can be made. We have a small window of opportunity to make an application to the National UNESCO Committee (by April 30). To do that we must FIRST and immediately get the authorization of the City of Los Angeles to go forth. See more about how you can help us get the City's attention at: http://spacesarchives.org/blog/2016/03/25/act-now-support-the-watts-towers-candidacy-for-unesco-world-heritage-site-status/. Please act now!
