Presented by the Cedars-Sinai Alumni Association and Medical Staff, Robin Trento will offer a virutal tour through local museums exhibiting exemplary Italian paintings from the 1300s through 1700s. The illustrated discussion will focus on these 500 years of artistic mastery, tracing the innovations and developments that brought Italy to the forefront of painting production and deeply influenced artists worldwide.
In combining two delectable art forms, reference will also be made to regional dishes emerging from these areas where innovation and artistry thrived both in pictorial and culinary arenas in this land of boundless creativity.
