The Bayonne chapter of Sons of Italy has announced its new officers for 2014-2015. On April 2 at the Dominic Del Monte Lodge 2560, the organization installed its new slate of officers, which includes John Baccarella, Grace Bitetto, Vitangelo Bitetto, and Gary La Pelusa, who is running for a seat on the Bayonne City Council.
The new officers will be replacing last year's officers, including the president of the state organization, Dominick Pucci, as well as Pasquale Agresti. The local chapter promotes Italian culture, traditions and language. The organization has sponsored events throughout the city including an opera.
