The Italian American Club will hold its tenth annual Columbus Day Parade on Sunday. A celebration of local Italian-American culture, this year's parade begins at 2 p.m. on Ridgedale Avenue in East Hanover and is dedicated to all who have served in the U.S. armed forces.
Leading the parade is the Color Guard of Picatinny Arsenal and the Whippany Park High School band, one of 12 featured marching bands in the parade. Also included are Morris County police and fire departments, entertainers, and many social and civic organizations. Morris County Sheriff's Department officers will march in celebration of the department's 275th anniversary.
