A sing-along to Italian and American songs will provide a Columbus Day concert for diners next Monday (Oct. 12, 2015) from 5-9 p.m. at the Friendly's Restaurant, Route 100 and Shoemaker Road. A portion of the proceeds from meals purchased between those hours will benefit the Pottstown Area Seniors Center building fund, according to representative Jay Kapila.
Senior Dee Jay will serve up the music and encourage patrons to join in. It promises to be "some irresistible fun," Kapila said. The celebration songs have Italian and English lyrics with recorded background music.
