Fighting for Columbus

Some people around the nation are asking the question tonight -- isn't anything sacred anymore? This comes after a growing number of protests are being made against communities that honor Christopher Columbus.

In some of those communities statues and monuments to the early explorer have been vandalized. In Oberlin, Ohio  a state whose capital is named for Christopher Columbus City leaders even voted this week to abolish Columbus Day altogether and replace it with "Indigenous People's Day".  Our lead I- Team Reporter Andy Mehalshick spoke to folks in one local community who have vowed to fight any attempt to stop their celebration of Columbus day.
