It’s an exciting summer at the museum! "Bernini & the Roman Baroque: Masterpieces from the Palazzo Chigi in Ariccia" brings to the museum 50 works by more than 40 artists that will, for the duration of your museum visit, magically transport you to the artistic milieu of Italy during the 1600s.
The exhibition explores the impact of Gian Lorenzo Bernini (1598-1680), a master of Baroque art who was hugely influential during his lifetime and beyond. It’s the museum’s first large-scale exhibition of Old Master paintings since 1965 — so you won’t want to miss it.
