The borough will morph into Little Italy this weekend as the annual Columbus Day Parade and Italian Festival are celebrated in town. The parade kicks off at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, on the Boulevard in Seaside Heights. Once again, a folkloric group from Italy will visit the borough for the parade, which is organized by the Ocean County Columbus Day Parade Committee.

The Italian Festival will be held from Friday, Oct. 11 through Sunday, Oct. 13 on Grant Avenue, and will feature food, music and crafts. The folklore group "I Cantori Popolari delle Isole Eolie" from Italy's Aeolian islands will march in the parade and perform at the festival.
