During his visit to Washington to attend the NATO Foreign Affairs Ministerial on the occasion of the seventieth anniversary of the signing of the Treaty establishing the Alliance on April 4, 1949, Minister Moavero Milanesi had a series of meetings with Trump administration officials and members of the Senate and House.

During his meeting with the National Security Advisor, Ambassador John Bolton, Minister Moavero reviewed the main international dossiers, from the collaboration within the Atlantic Alliance to Venezuela, from China to the Mediterranean and the Middle East. With Senior Advisor to the President, Jared Kushner, he discussed the common engagement to promote peace, growth and prosperity in the Mediterranean region. Minister Moavero then met with Republican Senator Lindsey Graham and Congressman Mark Meadows.
