The Italian American Veterans Post No. 1 will have its annual Festa Italiana from noon to 6 p.m., Sept. 17, at its headquarters located 4567 Oberlin Ave. in Lorain. The honorees this year are Lorain accounting firm Campana Campana & Company Inc. as Italian Business of the Year, and Darlene Bruno of Lorain will be recognized as the Auxiliary Member of the Year.

Bruno also is the only living member from when the original charter was created in 1958. Campana Campana & Company provides accounting, tax preparation and financial services to businesses as well as individuals. “My father (Thomas) started this business in 1971, working on his kitchen table,” said Gina Campana of Campana Campana & Company.
