The 24th annual Our Lady of Mount Carmel Italian Festival began Thursday in Youngstown, OH. This year, organizers have added some new things. There are new foods to try and vendors to check out, like Yosteria, a popular eatery. “People can expect traditional Italian food from cavatelli to pizza, to braciole sandwiches.
We’ll have Italian cocktails and we’ll have our regular bar. We’ll have peaches and wine. We have lots of lots of traditional pastries,” said Festival Chairman Scott Schulick. “It’s great to be part of the community. We know a lot of people that are involved in the festival too and of course everyone that comes. We’re just very excited,” said Frank Tuscaro with Yosteria said.
