The sights, sounds and aromas of Italian food and fun will fill one downtown Indy block this weekend. The Italian Street Festival kicks off Friday evening at Indy's Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Volunteers have spent weeks prepping the red sauce, meatballs, Italian sausage and decadent homemade desserts. The festival will sell 800 gallons of red sauce, and thousands of meatballs and cannolis. But, that's just part of the attractions.
