St. Paul's Italian Festival plans to bring back its traditional format as the state lifts its capacity limits and the CDC issues new mask guidance. The festival, centered around St. Paul Roman Catholic Church at 16th and Walnut Streets, is scheduled for Aug. 6-8.
Organizers waited to make the announcement in order to confirm the availability of tents and other supplies needed to host the festival. In 2020, event organizers had to pivot because of the risks of spreading COVID-19 at large gatherings. The festival was forced to become a drive-through food pick-up event.
