Renee Evangelista, a graduate of Brown University and New York University, School of Law has been practicing for over 23 years. For 22 years, Renee was a Capital Partner and the first female in the 100 plus years existence to co-manage the Providence office of Edwards & Angell, now Locke Lord. In addition, she also served as an Assistant probate judge for the City of Warwick, RI for 5 years. Renee left the Firm in 2014 with the entire Providence Trusts & Estates Department to form the high end boutique law firm of Howland Evangelista Kohlenberg Burnett LLP, continuing to serve clients in the Northeast and through out the country. Renee's practice involves sophisticated estate planning and estate settlement techniques to save clients gift, estate and income taxes, while ensuring that their property passes according to their wishes.
