The North End Music and Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC) invites guests and members of their community to Boston's historic Faneuil Hall, The Great Hall for a night of opera featuring Rossini's La Cenerentola.
The NEMPAC Opera Project presents Rossini's La Cenerentola, a two act opera sung in Italian accompanied by Chamber Orchestra. The project, founded in 2012, continues its annual tradition of presenting a fully staged opera in one of Boston's most historic venues. Loosely based on the fairytale, La Cenerentola turns Cinderella on its head with an evil stepfather, bouts of mistaken identity, and most of all, the triumph of goodness.
