On Monday, Sept. 2, Labor Day, the Italian Workingmen's Club opened its exhibit at the Museum of Work and Culture celebrating its 85th anniversary and also its display, celebrating the contributions of the Italian families arriving during the early 1900s, on the life and culture in northern Rhode Island. This ceremony was a rousing success at the museum for all who attended.
Mark Montecalvo of Channel 12 provided an entertaining dialogue along with former mayor Charles Baldelli, who served as master of ceremonies. The exhibit will continue until early November.
