Potentially life-saving screenings were offered to women on the Island Thursday free of charge. The American-Italian Cancer Foundation's mobile clinic made a stop in Mariners Harbor to give women mammograms and breast exams. The free breast cancer screenings were organized in part by Councilwoman Debi Rose's office.
