BY: The Staff at The Italian Cultural Foundation at Casa Belvedere
The health and safety of our members, visitors, and staff are our top priority. For that reason, we have decided to cancel all cooking and language classes, cultural events and fundraisers until the end of March.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely and follow the guidelines issued by CDC, the New York State Department of Health, as well as local, state and federal authorities.
Please keep checking Casa Belvedere’s website for updates on upcoming April programs and classes. We’d also like to take this opportunity to encourage you to take standard precautions to help prevent the spread of respiratory illnesses like COVID-19.
The US Health Department recommends washing hands frequently, or using hand sanitizers when you are unable to wash your hands. Also avoid touching your face and avoid shaking hands/kissing when greeting others. And, most of all, maintain a distance of at least 6 feet from the next person.
People who recently returned to the United States from international travel need to stay away from public places and monitor for fever, cough, and difficulty breathing for at least 14 days. If any of these symptoms occur, seek medical care right away.
Thank you and be safe
