Christen Visceglie, a longtime leader of the Long Island chapter of the American Association of Teachers of Italian, is the latest to be announced as an honoree of the Italian American Heritage Society of Long Island. Tickets and sponsorships are available for the event now. Visceglie is a dedicated Italian educator at Manhasset Secondary School, promoting Italian language and culture across all levels of education.

She has contributed to Manhasset’s curriculum development and taught levels 1 through Advanced Placement. She serves as Vice President of K-12 for the National American Association of Teachers of Italian and has held various roles in the Long Island Chapter’s Executive Board.
