Binghamton's 64th Annual Columbus Day Parade and Italian Festival is on Monday, October 9th. Mayor Jared Kraham was joined by members of Binghamton's Italian-American community, Italian Exchange students and members of Union-Endicott High School's Italian Club.
The festival kicks off at 9 a.m. with a flag raising outside City Hall, followed by the parade at 10 a.m. It starts at the intersection of Main and Arthur streets and ends in front of the Broome County Courthouse. "It's a day filled with delicious, homemade Italian foods, family-friendly entertainment and, of course, great performances by our local marching bands competing in the long-running tournament of bands competition," said Mayor Kraham.
