Giuseppe D'Angelo, 80, of Willowbrook, a retired longshoreman and loving family man, died Monday in Richmond University Medical Center, West Brighton. Mr. D'Angelo was born and raised in Pozzallo, Sicily, Italy, and served in the Italian army as a young man. He immigrated to the United States in 1962, moving to Brooklyn.
He settled in Willowbrook in 1982. A snowbird, he wintered in Port St. Lucie, Fla. A member of the International Longshoremen's Association, Mr. D'Angelo was a longshoreman for more than 24 years. He enjoyed playing cards and watching soccer, and Italy's Juventus team was a favorite.
