The Minty Organization for the Performing Arts, a nonprofit organization which oversees the Minty Awards, has announced honorees for the sixth annual Minty Awards Dinner Gala set for Thursday, Jan. 17, at 7 p.m. in Nicotra's Ballroom at the Hilton Garden Inn, Bloomfield. And it's not too early to reserve.
Recognized during the evening will be Edward Morand, who will receive the Carl William Lesch Memorial Award for Educator of the Arts; Richie Byrne, the Distinguished Alumni Award; Drs. Richard and Carin Guarasci, Community Enrichment Award, and the St. John Villa Academy's 1989 production of "The King and I," which will receive the Outstanding Show Award.
