Nicholas A. Corrado, 90, of New Dorp, a retired deputy commissioner for the city Department of Real Property and adjunct professor, a World War II veteran and family man, died Sunday in Staten Island University Hospital, Ocean Breeze.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, he moved to New Dorp in 1969. Mr. Corrado served in the in the U.S. Army for three years during World War II. A sergeant, he saw duty in the China-Burma-India theater of operations.
