Discover the Howard Beach Columbus Day party for yourself. State Sen. Joe Addabbo Jr. (D-Howard Beach) is throwing a shindig in honor of the Italian explorer on Sunday, Oct. 6, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Our Lady of Grace Church Hall at 100-05 159 St., in Howard Beach.
“For me, Columbus Day has always been a time to celebrate my Italian American heritage, and it is the same for many of my constituents,” Addabbo said in a prepared statement. “That is why I want to throw this great party where everyone from seniors to families with their children can come out and listen to Italian music, have some delicious food, and have an overall good time.” Admittance is free.
