Peekskill Pageants is pleased to announce the Miss Italia Peekskill 2013
Competition (formerly Miss Festa Italiana Peekskill). The competition is open to young ladies who want to compete for the Miss Italia Peekskill crown, who meet the following criteria:
• Must be of Italian descent
• Must be single and never married or have had a child
• Must be between the ages of 16 and 26
• Must submit 2 digital color photos, 1 headshot and 1 full body
• Must pay a $25 non refundable registration fee
• Competition is limited to the first 50 applicants

The girls will be judged in the following categories: photogenic qualities, interviews and evening wear. A panel of judges will be chosen to help select Miss Italia Peekskill 2013 through a pageant voting process.

We are also seeking young girls to compete for the Little Miss Italia Peekskill Pageant. The competition is open to young girls who meet the following criteria:
• Must be of Italian descent
• Must be between the ages of 5 and 9
• Must submit 2 digital color photos, 1 headshot and 1 full body
• Must pay a $25 non refundable registration fee
• Competition is limited to the first 50 applicants

The competition will be held on Saturday, October 12th and the winner will be crowned the same day. The winner of the Miss Italia Peekskill Pageant will receive a Crown, Sash, Scepter, $500, and the entrance fee to another pageant, should they so desire. There will also be two runners up who will receive $100, small tiaras and a sash. The winner of the Little Miss Italia Peekskill Pageant will receive $100, crown, and a sash.

The planning committee is excited about this competition and looks forward to accepting applications from young women and young girls from all areas, not just
Peekskill. On Sunday, October 20, 2013, a Royal Installation Ball will be held at the Harbor Restaurant in Peekskill, NY to honor Miss Italia Peekskill and Little Miss Italia Peekskill. Tickets will go on sale for the pageant starting September 1st.

Tickets can be purchased from a contestant at $25 or they can purchase tickets the day of the pageant for $30. Tickets for the Royal Installation Ball can also be purchased ahead of time. Details on the ball will be provided at a later time.

Peekskill Pageants would like to stress that while last year the Miss Festa Italiana Peekskill was associated with the Festa Italiana Peekskill that was formerly run by Downtown Festivals Inc., a 501(c) 3 company established to primarily benefit the Church of the Assumption and area Peekskill Charities, this year we are NOT associated with the for profit company that ran the Italian Festival in Peekskill on August 16, 17 and 18, All proceeds from Peekskill Pageants, Miss Italia Peekskill and our next pageant, Miss Cinco de Mayo Peekskill will benefit the Church of the Assumption in Peekskill, NY.
