There are so many great reasons to support the Columbus Day Parade—the excitement, the pageantry, and of course that great sense of Italian American heritage and achievement. And for the vibrancy of New York City. There will be great floats, marching bands, and colleague institutions such as the Italian Welfare League, OSDIA, UNICO, and many others. Our Red Carpet talent is sure to delight audiences in-person, on television, and on the live-stream.

Giada Valenti, well-known to CCF Members, has an album set for release this fall and we are thrilled she will be with us on Columbus Day. Vanessa Racci, another great friend to Columbus Citizens Foundation, will be performing a Jazzy Italian rendition of Volare. Vanessa will be live at the Townhouse later in the fall to celebrate the release of her new album.

Caravan of Angels features Broadway and Off-Broadway singers performing From Now On from The Greatest Showman. Caravan of Angels is best known for bringing joy to those who can’t go to the theater, by performing in hospitals and senior centers. A great reminder of the healing power of the arts.

Angelo Venuto & Lisa Messina will perform the beloved Con Te Partiro also known as “Time to Say Goodbye” when it was recorded by Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman.

And both adults and children will be charmed by Simona Rodano, the Italian Fairy. She will perform Balla Balla Italia Bella. Simona promotes the beauty of Italian language and culture through children’s workshops. We are thrilled that CCF will host several workshops at the Townhouse with fall with Simona. We hope to see young CCF family members with us in October and November for these special Saturday morning activities.

We are thrilled to welcome Christian Guardino for the first time to our Columbus Day Celebrations. Christian was a fan favorite on American Idol. He is working on his very first album, which will be released in November.

Many of the floats will also have performers. You won’t want to miss a minute of it!
