A one hour, docent led, private group tour at the Museum of Biblical Art (MOBIA) in Manhattan will highlight 23 masterpieces of Early Florentine Renaissance sculpture from 1400-1450. The majority of these works have never been exhibited outside of Italy.
All of the sculptures were made for one specific project, Santa Maria del Fiore, better known as the Duomo, in Florence, Italy. The exhibit includes statues and reliefs by Nanni di Banco, Donatello, and Lucca della Robbia, and Brunelleschi's wooden models of the dome.
