Tricia Barbagallo is a Member of the American Italian Heritage Association. She holds two Master's Degree in History from the University at Albany, and is 3/4 of the way complete with a Ph.D. in history. She has worked at the Colonial Albany Project since 1987 - rebuilding the lives of Albany citizens born before, and also studies Albany's Colonial history.
She served as a adjunct Professor of History at UAlbany, and currently work in the legal field, and is assisting with a documentary on the Oneida Nation
This presentation is part of a chapter in her forthcoming book: "The Americans: Kindred Spirits in the Land of Plenty". The work focuses on the immigrant experience in Albany, 1850 to 1950 - and chronicles the lives of four immigrant families, and their experiences acculturating in the City of Albany.
