The Marche and Urbino, the UNESCO City that gave birth to the divine Raphael, on the occasion of the Year of Italian Culture in the U.S. , promote , together with the Italian Cultural Institute in New York and the Superintendence of Urbino, the knowledge of the artistic heritage and of the museums of the Marche region, through the exhibition of the painting portraying St. Catherine of Alexandria (an early work by Raphael), which is now in the Galleria Nazionale delle Marche in Urbino.
Raphael was born in Urbino in 1483. On View: Monday through Friday, 10:00am to 4:00pm.
