Italy Invests in the US: Italy’s SIPA SpA Upgrades Location to Amplify It’s NA Sales and Support

Italy's SIPA SpA via its SIPA North America, Inc. subsidiary is extending its North American operations in Atlanta, GA, as they continue to invest in the North American market. To support the rapidly increasing market demand for blow- and injection-molds from SIPA, the North American subsidiary decided to move to a new location, that covers 20,000 sq ft, and is conveniently located close to the main Atlanta international airport.

With this enlarged space, SIPA has already been able to increase its efficiency in regards to assistance to their expanding customer base across the continent. Upon that, the new space allows for an expanded spare parts warehouse, which is now operational 24/7 and able to supply over 90% of the necessary after-sales parts within 24 hours of the request.

Looking forward to the future, SIPA North America plans to establish a refurbishment center onsite for their growing customer base to support injection molds and hot runner needs; furthermore, SIPA will provide assistance for refurbishments whether or not SIPA themselves originally manufactured the products. These operations will begin in the second half of the year, and will help improve and implement the company strategy in a key region. Another new service that SIPA will be able to offer to their North American customers with be its LCS, Life Cycle Service for PET bottle perform injections molds: a service that as of now is only available out of Italy.
