The University of Alabama will host the southeastern premiere of a multimedia presentation based on the works of a leading figure of the Italian Renaissance. Minneapolis composer Jocelyn Hagen’s “The Notebooks of Leonardo da Vinci” will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in concert hall of the Moody Music Building, 810 Second Ave.
The performance will combine visual elements with performances by UA’s University Chorus, the University Singers, the Prentice Concert Chorale and a chamber orchestra consisting of UA faculty and students. Hagen's piece is designed to mark 500 years since da Vinci's death.
