The Cultural Italian American Organization of Cayuga County — also known as CIAO — is hosting a St. Joseph’s Day Feast Celebration Sunday, March 18. The feast will include traditional food, including bread shaped like the shepherd hook, and a religious ceremony with a small procession, and everyone is asked to wear red, the traditional color for St. Joseph’s Day.
The dinner, including antipasto, salad, pasta, ham, chicken, fava beans, cannoli and zeppole, begins at 5 p.m. at the Springside Inn, 6141 West Lake Road, Auburn. Tickets are $30 per person and are available from Tesoro’s Apparel, Gusto Italiano, The Flower Shop or from any CIAO board member.
