Businessman Frank Maselli was named Honorary Consul of Italy in New Orleans April 22 by decree of the Embassy of Italy in Washington D.C. Maselli assumes the position from Arnaldo Partesotti, who served as Honorary Consul of Italy in New Orleans since 1997.
As Honorary Consul, Maselli will represent Italy at official international functions, assist with visa/passport/travel needs as appropriate, and foster international business and trade between the United States and Italy. "I am honored to serve as Honorary Consul and look forward to maintaining a strong relationship between Italy and New Orleans." said Maselli.
