Having been crowned Queen of the Italian American Marching Club for the 2016 St. Joseph Day Parade is a great honor for Kaylie Badalamenti Catoire Hyde, daughter of Emmett and Cherie Hyde. Her great grandmother, Frances Badalamenti was an amazing role model to her family. "She instilled in us the respect and honor we have for our Italian heritage."
Proud to have been born into the Italian American Marching Club tradition, Kaylie's mother, Cherie Catoire Hyde, was a Maid for thirteen years; Kaylie's Aunt, Angelle Catoire Cobb was a Maid for fifteen years and Queen of the Italian American Marching Club in 1995. Kaylie's Grandfather, Ed Catoire, is the President of the Italian American Marching Club. Kaylie claims the Italian American Marching Club as her family and a large part of her Italian Heritage. Her family has celebrated with the Italian American Marching Club since the club was founded, 46 years ago.
