October is Italian-American Heritage Month in the State of Utah and the Office of the Mayor, in partnership with the Salt Lake City Public Library, is pleased to celebrate and showcase 2013 as the Year of Italian Culture in the Capital City.
At 7 p.m. each Tuesday evening in October, the public is invited to visit the City Library Main Library to learn more about Italy and Italian heritage, and explore what it means to be an Italian-American. All events will be held in the Level 4 Conference Room. Also, a display on Level 1 will feature the work of Italian artist Meo Carbone throughout the month.
