Celebrate Italian American Heritage Month with Nutley UNICO and the Nutley Public Library with a screening of Mia Madre (My Mother), on Thursday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. According to a library news release, the 2015 award-winning Italian language film with English subtitles stars Margherita Buy as a woman facing a career crisis as well as caring for her ailing mother.
John Turturro provides comedic relief and romantic interest. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for refreshments provided by Nutley UNICO, the largest Italian American service organization in the United States.
