Museum of Idaho in Idaho Falls opens a new exhibit this Friday, "Rome: Military Genius & Mighty Machines". The Italian artisan created exhibit showcases the early culture and engineering created by the Roman Empire. Visitors learn how 2,000 year old technologies are still applied to how we live today.
Inventions such as pile drivers, indoor plumbing, and architectural masterpieces, like the Colosseum, are all at the exhibit. "This is exhibit is great because it speaks to history, it speaks to art and technology and innovation, so I think there is really something here for everybody" said Carrie Athay, Museum Curator. The exhibit will run through the end of May.
