An Italy-based clothing retailer opened one of its first stores in the country in South Jersey on Thursday. Intimissimi, which is owned by the Calzedonia group,opened in the Cherry Hill Mall on Thursday, March 1, Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (PREIT) announced. It sells intimate apparel, swimwear, stockings and clothing.
Popular in Europe, the international Italian brand, which offers styles a bit more elevated than Victoria's Secret at a similar price is not well-known in America. Intimissimi plans to open 20 more stores on the East Coast, before starting an expansion to the West Coast.
