As part of an economic development mission to Italy, Indiana has opened a business development office in Milan. During the three-day trip, members of the delegation also met with businesses in Italy's "Motor Valley" to promote collaboration with the state's automotive manufacturing and motorsports industries.
During the trip, delegation members joined Italy-based filter manufacturer Filtrec S.p.A. for its announcement that it will invest $1.3 million into a Daleville operation that could create 25 jobs by 2022. The company plans to double or triple its physical presence in Delaware County within five years.
