Opening this Wednesday, November 13, restaurateur Frank Abbracciamento is continuing his namesake legacy with this opening (174 Merrick Road, Lynbrook, NY). Abbracciamento’s long-standing restaurant business in New York City was well known with dignitaries and generations of local residents alike for decades (the former Abbracciamento was in business at the Canarsie Pier for 18 years; Frank also owned the catering operation of the Explorer’s Club for 23 years).
Abbracciamento’s reincarnation on Long Island will usher in a new chapter of fine Italian dining and catering while maintaining it’s established passion for sourcing high quality ingredients. Frank says, “I am thrilled to revive our family’s history with this project, further facilitating our name; known by many New Yorkers and synonymous with exceptional food and service.”
