Kenner's historic Rivertown is the site for the 14th annual "Festa Italiana" festival on March 27-29. The Kenner Italian Heritage Foundation, created by former Kenner Police Chief Nick Congemi, will host the event, in cooperation with the City of Kenner. The three-day festival promises fun for the entire family.
The festival opens March 27 at 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., March 28 from noon to 10 p.m., and March 29 from noon to 6 p.m. There will be a display of historical memorabilia and photographs, depicting Kenner's Italian families, while honoring Louisiana's rich Italian cuisine, music and culture.
