The hands of Italian immigrants from the hamlet of Pettoranello helped build the modern Princeton, a place that beckons a new generation of Italian youth this week. A delegation of 20 high school students are due to arrive in Princeton Thursday night to begin a week of cultural exchange.
They will spend part of their visit attending classes at Princeton High School, exploring Princeton University and learning about the community. All the students come from Italy's Molise region that includes the town of Pettoranello, located southeast of Rome and close to the Adriatic Sea.
